Meet Tre Johnson
Welcome to my official website! I’m Tre Johnson, a freshman guard at The University of Texas and proud member of the men’s basketball team. Basketball has always been my passion, and I’m grateful to be living my dream of playing at the highest level in college hoops.
Coming from Garland, Texas, I’ve worked tirelessly to develop my skills and elevate my game. At Lake Highlands High School, I was a 3 year varsity starter. I helped lead my team to the 3rd round of the playoffs my first 2 years and in my junior year we won the 6A state championship! While at Lake Highlands, I was an all-state selection in basketball my sophomore and junior year and also won MVP honors at the state tournament. For my senior year I attended Link Academy Prep School in Branson, Missouri to play a national schedule with some of the best players in the country. At Link, I helped lead my team to the final 4 of the national tournament. There I was honored to be selected for numerous all-star games like the McDonald’s, Jordan Classic, The World Game, and the Slam Classic. Mr Basketball in the state of Missouri. Going into college, I was the only player from the 2024 class to be ranked in the top 5 all 4 years of high school according the ESPN rankings. Now I’m focused on leading The University of Texas to a championship and continuing to refine my game as I prepare for the next level.
Off the court, I’m committed to representing my family, my team, and my community with pride and integrity. While my goals is to declare for the NBA Draft after this season, I’m focusing on giving my all to this chapter of my journey and making it a season to remember.
Thank you for following me along as I chase my dreams. Stay connected for updates on my games, stats and anything in between..
